New Build Supervision and Project Management
Niksam is one of the most experienced newbuilding supervision companies in Asia with experience of supervising many different types of ships and marine structures including: Subsea vessels to DP3, Offshore vessels to DP2, Seismic vessels, Pipe lay barges to DP3, Jack up oil rigs, Electrical power barges to 170MW, Aframax oil tankers, Post Panamax Bulk carriers, 9600 TEU Container Ships, Chemical tankers; at Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia, Dubai and Singapore.
FPSO, FSO, Modu Projects
Niksam's FPSO division has very good experience in the project management and conversion of FPDSO's, FPSO's, FSO's as well having designed the cargo handling systems for a SEVAN FPSO. Our capabilities include managing the entire logistics of module and package transportation and installation, FPSO towing, FPSO mooring and hook up.
Marine Consulting
Niksam's consulting division has specialist experience and knowledge of multi disciplinary marine engineering consultancy and survey services on oil and gas rigs, construction and support vessels, tankers and cargo vessels. Our specialist engineers undertook the primary and secondary configuration studies of cargo, ballast, COW, inert gas, bilge mechanical, electrical and piping systems on behalf of the Sevan FPSO SSP 320. We also provide marine engineering inspection services including CMID, S&P, Damage surveys, Condition Surveys, Pre-purchase Inspection Surveys, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering concept studies, shipyard selection to the offshore energy and shipping industries.
Offshore Engineering
Niksam's Offshore Division has experience of: pipe lay to 1500mm diameter in extreme conditions, the design fabrication and installation of active heave compensated offshore cranes and equipment, shut down repairs to oil rigs in the Timor Sea and emergency repairs to subsea vessels and equipment. Project management for the conversion of a 100,000 DWT tanker into a FSO.
